Since I opened Sunny’s Bookshop, I knew I wanted to create a space that celebrates storytelling. I’ve always been a reader, but selling books was an entirely new feat. And the best part about the bookshop was interacting with the community and talking about something as mundane as books. There’s so much power in storytelling, and once you dive into the creative craft, you can’t help but feel inspired. That’s why the next step in this journey is to expand on the bookshop’s mission and dedicate a place that focuses on creatives.

Sunny’s Journal will be a transformative and innovative space that not only elevates the talents and voices of writers, artists, and readers but also serves as a beacon of inspiration for our community. We’ll be actively sharing insightful thoughts and questions from creatives, sparking conversations and ideas that will uplift and inspire us all.
